  1. The Broken Link Checker plugin is extremely useful but it is not working correctly installed in a multisite wordpress. It displays broken links that are actually working. Maybe it is because of the different used domains inside!?

  2. Have an option to check only on user request; my hosting provider won't allow to run server background checks

  3. I have a bunch of items in the trash that have broken links. Would be ideal if in the "Look for links in" area there was a checkbox so that the plugin would skip looking for trashed items.

  5. plugin said 5 links, all going to same main site from mine, were all bad. By the time I read it, there was no issue...I can only assume their URL was temporarily down. Is there anyway the plugin can maybe 're-check' it's own reported errors after a short period maybe? That would be a great time saver, and make the plugin even more valuable...

  6. Over the past couple of months, it has been reporting broken links that, once checked are not broken at all. Why is this?

  10. I also agree with others below that this type of functionality should be in the WP core. Would love to see an updated version of the plugin.

  11. Possibly send text or email message to site admin when broken link checker finds broken links.

Embedded video links seem to alway reappear as broken, even after I've dismissed or chosen "not broken." Hopefully you can resolve this issue with your next release.

  15. In the current version, recommendation for an archive.org link appears only when the site itself has died out ('broken'). However, in many instances a site domain remains and directs to its homepage ('redirect') even when the site has deleted their original content. It would help greatly when there is an option to move 'redirect' to 'broken' and enable recommendations.

  17. Simply select all broken links, bulk change option, and enter one link of your own that can be any (working) link.

  19. Right now I have 347 broken links.
My editors will go crazy with dozens of notifications and won't be able to keep track of broken links on posts from other authors they oversee. It would be perfect if they could go to the admin panel and sort by author.

    Thanks!
