How can I improve Broken Link Checker?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  1. On Tools > Broken link, you have a button called "Admin Menu Editor"

    Why? I did not know what it was there for.
    Are you promoting it?
    I am confused about this because I checked and it does not seem to be a plugin of yours.
    In any case, if you are going to promote something within the WP admin screen, please include a Dismiss function - I dont want to see this button all the time.

  9. Detect Blocked Youtube Links

    It would be great if plugin could check blocked Youtube links by major record labels, as it's happening these days with Beatles songs because of their arrival in Spotify and Apple Music.

  11. Create tab to view links whether they are broken or not.

    I can only view all my links if they are broken but if they are not, i cannot see the links i have on my page. This would be useful to make sure my redirects are correct.

  14. I moved a site using duplicator and it still is showing some of the old urls as broken links

    How if the links on the actual site are all OK is link checker finding them to still contain the old urls. I deleted the link checker and all the files and then re-installed....did not fix the problem. The first was cacollegepathways.org/demo-site/ and the new site is new.cacollegepathways.org but the link checker is finding new.cacollegepathways.org/demo-site/ as a broken link which is true. Anyone know how to fix?

  16. Hi make it ignore pages in the Bin.

    ie if a page is in the bin then don't check it for broken links

  17. Links removed from pages not removed from plugin

    I've removed entire paragraphs containing links from two of my pages now, and in both cases the links are "stuck" in BLC's database. I dismissed them, but even weeks later they're not gone.

  20. how to recover links from trash? link checked deleted pages off my site
