    You can make the plugin ignore any site by adding its domain name (e.g. “facebook.com”) to the “Exclusion list” in Settings → Link Checker → Which Links To Check.

  3. Currently YouTube's short links (http://youtu.be/...) are not checked. I could not for the life of me figure out where to add the regex or preg_match within the code to add this functionality. I believe it would be an easy fix by adding a second pattern match to extras/youtube.php. I'd love to see this added since my site uses nothing by YouTube's short links!

  4. The fact that this tool allows me to to change multiple links directly from the plugin without having to go into every post and page is fantastic.

    Right now I need to change multiple links across my site (they are not broken) and if I could only tell your plugin to return all links and not just broken ones (as a filtering option) it would mean that I could change them quickly from there, rather than going into every page / post.

  5. Some errors in API's

    In Rapidshare:

    In line 99, which says:

    'http://api.rapidshare.com/cgi-bin/rsapi.cgi?sub=checkfiles_v1&files =% d & filename =% s',

    should say:

    'http://api.rapidshare.com/cgi-bin/rsapi.cgi?sub=checkfiles&files =% d & filename =% s',

    There were changes in the API and did not work.

    In Mediafire:

    At line 89, which says:

    if (strpos ($ rez ['headers'] ['location'], 'errno = 320')! == false) {

    It should say:

    if (strpos ($ rez ['headers'] ['location'], 'errno = 328')! == false) {

    But does not work.

    Thank you very much for a good plug-in .!!!!!

    Translated with Google, sorry if it is not accurate.

    En Español:

    Algunos errores en…

  6. I'd like to see an option to have Broken Link Checker completely uninstall itself (delete any options and database updates it made). I'm not sure if this is all done automatically when you deactivate the plugin or not; but if it isn't, I'd like to see an option to do so. Thanks.

  9. Got a bunch of links listed under Redirects. Most were because of missing / at the end. Would be nice if there was for example a simple "Fix it" link next to "Edit URL" which just edited the URL for me with the correct URL. Shouldn't be too hard, cause when I click on Details, the URL seems to have been retrieved already. So.. just a matter of sticking it in the field and saving for me :)

  10. On the Options>>Look For Links In>>Custom Fields configuration it says to enter field names one per line. I have two custom fields to check, "Thumbnail" and "Featured Image" but upon entering these and clicking Save Changes the "Featured Images" field is converted into two separate lines labelled "Featured" and "Images". Custom fields with spaces in their names are uncommon, but work perfectly well in WordPress. This should be handled.

  11. It would be great if I could add an exclusion list so that certain urls aren't checked. I'm thinking where it would match with any part of the url, so if I had:

    example.com/links/this-link

    I could put into the exclusion list: "/links/" and any url that contained that prhase wouldn't be checked for a broken link.

  15. I just moved a bunch of pages around on my site into a new URL structure. Many posts link to those pages so I know there must be broken links on my site, but BLC hasn't picked them up yet. How can I force it to re-scan immediately so I can find and fix the links before my visitors do? :)

    You can set it in “Settings → Link Checker”. Use the “Send me e-mail notifications about newly detected broken links” checkbox to enable or disable email notifications.

    Most of that is already possible.

    A) On the “Broken Links” page, enable expanded status display by clicking the rectangular icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the “Displaying X of Y” text. This will add a “Broken for X time” line to the status column.

    You can also click the “Screen Options” panel and enable the “Highlight links broken for at least X days” option to make it easier to distinguish between old and new links.

    B) Use the search function. For example, you can search fro “Link type: HTML images” and then save that search query as a filter so you can access it later with one click.

    C) You’re welcome :)

  20. add filter by Status
